Dr.
Phil Latimier studied Finance, Banking and Business Administration
at the University
of PARIS PANTHEON-SORBONNE before earning a Doctorate
from the PARIS University.
He
has pursued a prestigious academic career, teaching primarily at
the European Business School in PARIS.
He
has also taught in numerous french Business Schools, most notably
at ESSEC, E.M LYON, PARIS-DAUPHINE University and I.A.E PARIS.
With
various postgraduate qualifications including a C.B.A (Certified
Business Appraisal ) degree from the Institute of Business Appraisers,
Inc and an Advanced Degree in Financial Management from the Donald
T. Regan School of Advanced Financial Management -NY-USA, Phil LATIMIER
brings a wealth of Airline Finance experience in Corporate Valuation
and Aircraft Asset Value management to his contacts in the Airline
Industry in Europe as well as in the European armament industry
such as EADS , Bae Systems.
Dr. LATIMIER has also taught in numerous US and foreign Universities
such as RUTGERS, TEXAS A&M, USD, The University of UTAH ( The David
Eccles School of Business ), The University of Wyoming, Thunderbird
, NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC in Singapore , The Helsinki School of Economics
and Business in Finland and The European School of Economics in
London.
He
is an Adjunct Finance Faculty at EMBRY-RIDDLE
AERONAUTICAL University.
Since
1978 he has served on numerous committees including CITIBANK -Paris-,
The NATIONAL BANK OF KUWAIT-Paris-, The SAUDI EUROPEAN BANK-Paris-
Banque de l' EURAFRIQUE ( Compagnie Financiere Edmond de ROTHSCHILD
Group).Serving in those roles, he has been involved in several projects
related to Airline Credit Risk Analysis and Securitization of Aircraft
Assets.
He was appointed Resident Team Leader and Manager for CAMBODIA by
BARENTS/KPMG serving in that role from 1998 until 1999 as Technical
Adviser to the NATIONAL BANK OF CAMBODIA and The Asian Development
Bank. he was also appointed Senior Consultant by CARANA Corporation/US
AID in 2000 within the Bulgarian Capital Markets Project.
Dr.
LATIMIER also belongs to several learned societies and has published
works on Airline Financial Management , Aviation Financial Markets
and Airline Privatization.
He
is a recognized Expert in Airline Finance in France.
Issues
of prime importance on his publishing agenda include the search
for Managing Aircraft Costs solutions
through Passenger Value Management as well as the implementation
of Models to improve Financial Decision Making.
